Cromvoirt: a charming village in the north of the province of Noord Brabant. The village is situated between two higher nature reserves: the Vughterheide and the Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park.
The area stands out for its forests, water, heaths and river clay areas. From Résidence de Leuvert, you can discover the unique natural landscapes by car, bicycle or on foot. A variety of (free) cycling and walking routes are available from the reception.
The park is a 20 minute walk from the IJzeren Man, a beautiful recreational lake with a unique location in the middle of the woods. Here there is also a beach, where you can rent a pedalo or boat, go paddleboarding, and enjoy lounging, drinks and food at the Strandhuys.
Cromvoirt itself is a small village with fewer than 1,000 inhabitants. There are a number of small shops and supermarkets here. Sint-Lambertuskerk is the focal point of the village. The church was built in 1888 and is still used weekly.
The charming city of Den Bosch is just a 20 minute drive from Résidence de Leuvert. Here, you can shop until you drop, go on a guided city walk and also treat yourself to the most delicious Bossche Bollen (a large cream-filled profiterole) in Holland. Of course, 'gondola tour' along the partially covered Dieze is also recommended when visiting Den Bosch.
There are all kinds of things to do on the park itself and in the area surrounding Cromvoirt, for all ages. For example, you could visit one of the many museums, zoos, amusement parks or indoor and outdoor play areas.
In cooperation with Ticketsplus, we offer the best day trips in the surrounding area. Tickets for many of these great day trips can be purchased (with discounts) from the reception at the park.
