Green Key quality mark for Recreatiepark het Esmeer

Sustainable initiatives Recreatiepark het Esmeer awarded with Green Key gold quality mark

Good news! The sustainable initiatives at Recreatiepark het Esmeer were recently rewarded with the Green Key Gold quality mark. This means that seven TopParken vacation parks have currently been awarded the highest possible quality mark for sustainability. 
At Recreatiepark het Esmeer, and all of our other vacation parks, our employees do everything they can to save the environment without guests having to compromise on comfort and quality. 

At our vacation park in Gelderland, there are sustainable initiatives that make a positive contribution to nature, such as: 

• Regional plants; take a look at our fruit trees and pick a fresh fruit. But watch out for insects!
• Insect hotels and bird–nest boxes.
• Sale of organic and regional products at the park restaurant or at the reception. 
• The rainwater is collected and drained into the ponds at the park. 

More than nature 

In addition to the above contributions that have a positive impact on nature, Recreatiepark het Esmeer is actively involved in regional partnerships and is a sponsor of the local soccer club.
