Blue stands for caring. Caring for nature.
Our holiday parks are committed to every day sustainability. All parks are located in the middle of nature; from the middle of the forest to the coast. Nature makes them unique, we have to be careful with that.
We consciously deal with our impact on the environment and on society. Our guests, employees, and suppliers are informed about environmental impact. In addition, active efforts are being made to reduce our energy consumption. That way, nature surrounding and in our holiday parks will also remain available for our future generations.
The sustainability of TopParken is rewarded with the Green Key quality mark and the Max Havelaar Cotton quality mark.
Green Key quality mark
What are the ingredients of the perfect holiday? A comfortable accommodation, sun, being outside a lot, and a breathtaking environment. Whether you are going on holiday near the coast, in a wooded area, on the heathlands, or in a typically Dutch polder landscape: nature plays an important role in your holiday feeling. That is why we like to do something for nature and we are certified with the Green Key.
Recreatiepark de Woudhoeve and Recreatiepark Noordwijkse Duinen both possess a golden Green Key quality mark. Recreatiepark Beekbergen is in possession of a silver Green Key quality mark. This quality mark shows that these parks do everything they can to save the environment, even more than the legislation and regulations require. The other parks are hard at work to also get a Green Key quality mark.
Max Havelaar Cotton quality mark
As the first organization in the recreation sector, TopParken can guarantee that you will sleep that little bit better. All parks have been working with Fair Trade bedding for years. This is rewarded with a Max Havelaar Cotton quality mark. This mark shows that there is a 'fair agreement' between companies in the Netherlands and organizations of farmers in developing countries.
